Tiger begins his 2008 Grand Slam March...

This statement came from the world's number 2 golfer. That alone speaks volumes of how BA Tiger is.
however, in context it makes a bit more sense. The guy opened the final round with an 8 shot lead on a pretty demanding golf course. In that frame, it makes sense that nobody else was thinking about winning.

I'm not sure why they keep making Tiger play Torrey Pines. They should just FedEx him the trophy and let everybody else play for 2nd.

That includes the US Open this year, by the way.

birdie on 18 and 6 out of 9 on the back....filthy. I admit that I thought he was out of it at the beginning of the day.

You have to think about winning, why do you play, but to have fun and win ,but winning isn't everything..Have fun more..

I just tried telling my boss that and he didn't like it. Any more pearls of wisdom?

A professional athlete shooting for 2nd place is just sad IMO.

On paper it shouldn't be, but those greens have a way of creating suspense.

It was nice to see Bryant go the back nine in stride with Tiger. When pushed though, Tiger answered with the three best strokes of his week on 18. Five iron into the wind to 24ft... sheer beauty.
