Tiger High Trouble

You know, for some reason 5 games and no schollie (for a very well-to-do family) seems a bit light for a 5th alcohol suspension

you think? I dont think most of the folks on here have disputed that. What Im asking is why Cal needs to know what rule was broken before he disciplines a guy that beat a woman?

I know the punishment has been lax but did he specifically say that he isn't sure what rule was technically broken?

do we need technicalities when a woman has been struck by a man. One other poster in this thread even went so far as to say that it was the woman's fault because she had been "trouble". People wonder why the "it's the woman's fault" mentality persists. It's because of comments like Cal's.

No we don't, plain and simple. But at the same time I'm still not sure it is our job to judge people when we weren't there and don't know all the people involved. She does have a history with this sort of thing and it's entirely possible that she could be lying. Charges weren't filed. I don't agree with the "it's the woman's fault" mentality but we also can't afford to just take every woman's word for it. There's such a fine line there and I'm not sure we really know enough about it to sit here and judge people.

Haha thank you. I knew there was a perfect example. I don't think anyone is condoning hitting women so don't make us out to be the bad guys...I just think we should leave it up to them to work the process out. If Calipari didn't have such a bad history of dealing with problems I'd like to think there would be no reason to discuss this at this point.
