I'm astonished he ever won without Butch then. No teacher has taught the greatest golfer ever anything he couldn't do on his own. If anything they have did nothing but hold him back & that's all of them.

Correct. It's not like he was the best driver of the ball on the planet for only a couple of years in his life and has now become shorter and drastically more crooked when he went away from that swing to begin diving at the ball.

There's not a great player i can think of that hasn't benefitted from an extra set of eyes helping him tweak things.

Tweak things yes. Check things you may let slip without knowing like grip, alignment, ball position, etc yes. To rebuild a new swing when you're already the worlds best golfer NO.

Never heard of a girl named British, but the last name sure is fitting

Butch convinced him to shorten his swing which led to his consistency with distance. He was always a good striker of the ball, but hitting it straight between 170 and 185 with the same club won't win a lot of tournaments.

If you understand Foley's philosophies then you will realize he's not the coach for Tiger. Tiger's left knee will stay a wreck.

Tiger's knee is never going to be fully healed no matter who his instructor is. The golf swing naturally makes you do things your knees aren't exactly designed to do. The only way for Tiger to take the pressure off his left knee during his swing is for him to start swinging lefty.

Met a guy at the Knoxville Open who played with Foley at TTU. He told me that if Tiger is running with him that he is at a bad place in his life, that Foley is a lunatic. About a month later Tiger crashes.

Since I never had a permanent seat on the Woods bandwagon he's played his best golf. McIlroy is the new kid on the block, let's see what he does at Royal St. Georges.
