if you exercise and stay in shape, you can recover pretty good from most injuries. Tiger would be able to play well into his 40's.
Play yes, but to say 15 yrs of wear and tear on your knees, hips, lower back and general body soft tissue doesn't take a toll is naive. You change your swing. You don't see any 40 yr olds out on the tour torquing violently to crush a 330 yd drive as Tiger used to.
