tigers vs elephants

Agreed. Why do they avoid the mustang? It's by far their best option.

...but Les' chances would be even smaller.

How many people would score on Monte if he had the talent that Bama or LSU have?

How hard will it rock when Florida and Alabama play in Atlanta, and one of them gets the screw?

It looked like an INT to me...the hands to face non-call are just missed calls that happen in a game. Even with the INT, it's not likely they would've done anything...only in a position to take the lead, not necessarily the win.

indisputable video evidence, indisputable video evidence. It was close but not at all indisputable. Yes, he had one or two toes in but did he have them down WHILE HAVING POSSESSION? Wouldn't have mattered anyway. Lee is a terrible QB.

Yes. And it was beyond indisputable on the replay. There wasn't even a single bobble.

It's this kind of garbage explanations that non-Bama and non-Florida fans find crap.

It isn't about would have, could have, should have. It's about getting the call right, especially ones that happen at critical points in the game or have the potential to change the game.

Getting it right, even with instant replay is primary. At this point, I have lost all faith that the officials will get anything right, especially when the SEC darlings of 2009 are playing.

McElroy will not get it done against Florida.

Bama put up nearly 500 yards total offense on LSU. McElroy, Jones, Ingram, Richardson, etc., will get it done against UF. The Gators aren't very impressive offensively this year. UT's offense is better. The Gator offense I watched against Tennessee, Mississippi State, Arkansas and Vandy won't move the ball very much on Bama's D.

It's ridiculous accusations of a conspiracy that Bama and Florida fans "find crap," to use your own words. I believe that was an interception, too, but Bama had the lead and there is NO evidence LSU could have scored to take the lead. Check the stats if you'd like to see how Bama's D was controlling them.

But whether it's a bad call or not, this garbage of a conspiracy is for losers who make excuses for getting beat. Bama is 9-0, and 6-0 in the SEC. That's not because of the refs.

As for any UT fans questioning ANY call, your credibility is zero, considering all the misinformed crap about Cody's helmet.

LOL at the insinuation the two highlighted names have been anything other than below average, at best.

Here we go again...

"It was a blown call, but it didn't matter anyway!"

And we're the pathetic ones without a legitimate gripe? "We" being all other SEC fans. The UT game is what it is, I couldn't careless. And the conspiracy theory stuff is crap too.

It's this every week officiating gaffes that is bothersome, and the fact that Bama and UF always seem to be on the good side of them will obviously bring attention to them. Bama and UF probably are the two best teams in the SEC, but a fairly called game is all the rest of us SEC lowlies are asking for.

Even most reasonable Bama fans admit it, the INT was a blown call. And LSU deserved the right to see if it could have changed the game, despite your certainties that it wouldn't have.

Right, but others on this site are saying the refs "gave" Bama the game. Not true. The refs may have made a bad call, but it wasn't on the goal line. It wasn't a TD called back. Sure, it could have led to something, or not. We don't know. What we do know for a fact is that Bama dominated the fourth quarter and rolled up nearly 500 yards total offense on a supposedly good LSU defense. LSU got half of that. Bama's D was shutting them down, and especially in the fourth quarter.

As for the conspiracy, maybe you're not saying that, but a lot of others on this site are. It's ridiculous. It's one thing to say there have been a lot of blown calls this year, but it's a huge (and nonsensical) stretch to say it's a conspiracy to put Florida and Bama into the SEC cg. They happen to be the best two teams in the conference.

Does anyone (other than LSU fans) seriously believe the team they put on the field in Tuscaloosa is better than Bama? If so, I'd suggest reviewing the video from the game. It shouldn't have even been close.

And this matters, because?

Look at the stats from the Bama/UT game and tell me Bama was the better team. With the exception of two blocked FG's, UT outplayed you Bammers on both sides of the ball.

LSU should have gotten the opportunity to take the lead after the INT. That is all that I am arguing. All this nonsense about how it wouldn't have mattered is silly.
