Tillman and Hyatt should have stayed another year, way their seasons are going. I don’t know what’s going on with Tillman but when the coach leaves you inactive after you’re ready to play it’s a bad sign.

Don't know if that would have benefit them .. Obviously is would us but in reality how much ? Enuff to ruin good drafts for both players just so we feel better? I hate their gone but without hooker it wouldn't matter ...If we had all three we would win the natty with this better defense I think anyway

No. Hyatt won the Biletnikoff last year. What exactly was left for him to do? I’m not sure how he could possibly have improved his draft stock after winning an award for being the nation’s best WR. If anything, the lack of consistency from Milton this year would have hurt both players.

It's not about their teams seasons. It's about a job. They're getting paid. Another year in college with this returning roster makes zero sense.

I'm watching the Giants game. Hyatt is showing out. Hate it for us, but the Giants need all the help they can get. Jalin is also being paid well.
I’m not saying Hyatt should have stayed, but he’s hardly showing out. 1 catch today in the first half. 7 catches for 120 yards in 6.5 games this year.

Not sure how much it’s his fault thought. Giants are a mess.

Because the NFL isn’t guaranteed contracts. I had a post in the middle of the year saying Hyatt wasn’t an NFL ready receiver. I got roasted. Now he’s not done anything. I didn’t say he was bad I said he needs to get bigger and stronger.

Where does it serve him if he gets cut and bounces around a few years making the minimum? He could have gotten a lot bigger and stronger in another year. Maybe moved up into the top two rounds and really made some big money.

Do you watch the NFL? The Giants are a train wreck. And any Giants fan will tell you Hyatt is one of the bright spots and needs more opportunities. He has made several big plays, they would just rather throw to their slow dinosaurs for some reason.

He is a speedster who only usually runs deep routes. He is not an established route runner with particularly good hands.

Smartest dudes on the roster, they knew what they had coming back! Lol.

Hyatt had a nuts season and still had question marks…. Can you imagine if he had a less than All America season?!

Tillman may have benefited from another healthy season.

Hyatt had zero reason to even considering staying. The Giants are poorly run aka giving Daniel Jones that contract but he is in a great spot with the Giants. They are slowly learning to throw to him. Even with their stupidity, saying Hyatt somehow suffered from going pro and getting a $4-5 million dollar contract is not a smart take.

Jalin Hyatt has $2M GUARANTEED in his contract. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Jalin gets $750k this year. Then $1m next year, $1.2m in year 3 and $1.5m in year 4. You’re seriously not a smart individual if you think he’s not going to play out all 4 years of his rookie deal, barring a career ending injury. So unless you can predict the future, he’s indeed going to get paid $4.5m on his rookie contract, bozo

I think the "guaranteed" part only kicks in if he's cut right? Otherwise he's just playing out his contract?
