Tillman not playing in the Orange Bowl

He just couldn’t grow the extra three feet in time for the game to catch Milton’s passes and he knew it. Sucks though. Would have had a hell of a game if he was 9 feet tall.
Hookers high pass was the one that ended his season. Bash Milton all u want but Hooker ended his season. And then did it again in the Georgia game to reagravate it.

Tillman was not originally injured due to a high pass from Hooker, his leg was rolled up on while he was blocking for a running play - right at the goal line if I remember correctly. The high pass in the GA game may have re-aggravated it, but the initial injury was not due to a high pass.

Every player accepts the risk reward outcome of playing football. No one player is directly responsible for the injury of another. No receiver has to reach outside of his comfort zone to catch a pass, so the quarterback is not in any way at fault. However, every competitive receiver who is worth anything will always go the extra foot or two to make a catch (If injured while doing so, it is on him).

Thank you for everything you accomplished Cedric! My family greatly enjoyed meeting your family in Jacksonville in the buildup to the Gator Bowl.

Best of luck with your long and productive NFL career. Hope that you end up with the Titans. Wherever....#VFL!!!

Always remember, you were a big part of starting this trend right here..

I don’t know if it was before or after getting rolled up but Tillman had to jump high for a catch in the Akron game and the defender tackled his shin/ankle when he landed. It felt like Hooker was throwing high early in games quite a bit before settling down.

Yes it was. Hooker threw him high and when he came back down he was hit and rolled him low.

Hooker “ended his season”? Wow this board never ceases to amaze … 🤦‍♂️
Where did I say he ended his season. The post was attempting to throw Milton under the bus for Tillman not wanting to catch over thrown and high passes. I was just pointing out the fact that the high pass that caused Tillman to get injured was from Hendon is all. Be amazed!

It would be nice to have him for the game, but it means the WRs coming back next year get more work in practice...

Good luck Mr. Tillman - you are a VFL

Gee not sure, maybe the part where you actually stated “Hooker ended his season”?
