Tillman not playing in the Orange Bowl

As a Dawg, I certainly don't miss the days of Donnan and Richt, when the fans would dog individual players on public forums. No shortage of that in this thread, and others. People are gonna do it, but it absolutely does not help recruiting. Mostly done by the sidewalk alumni and something I've never understood.

And you guys talk about our fans. Not much worse than trashing your own players.
Just go away

Some of these so-called Vols fans here hunt for, take, even create any opportunity to put down Milton. My theory is they are either Bama elephant dung chip collectors, or Uga butt sniffers. I see no other explanation for the repeated put downs, even on threads not featuring Milton as the topic. It's Vols=player hating at its irrevocable most pitiful.

Where did I say he ended his season. The post was attempting to throw Milton under the bus for Tillman not wanting to catch over thrown and high passes. I was just pointing out the fact that the high pass that caused Tillman to get injured was from Hendon is all. Be amazed!

Umm, right here maybe?

Hookers high pass was the one that ended his season. Bash Milton all u want but Hooker ended his season. And then did it again in the Georgia game to reagravate it.

Like there was any question/doubt about it? Same for Hyatt. Good luck to them both. Now let's see what we have to work with next year. Time for some young 'uns to take center stage.

Yep, prep the guys we're counting on next season. Early jump on spring ball..............

Every player accepts the risk reward outcome of playing football. No one player is directly responsible for the injury of another. No receiver has to reach outside of his comfort zone to catch a pass, so the quarterback is not in any way at fault. However, every competitive receiver who is worth anything will always go the extra foot or two to make a catch (If injured while doing so, it is on him).

and if he doesn't, "then he needs to get out of the game" (should be added at the end of the above statement)

WTF?

Jay Schroeder's fault that Bo Jackson's career ended since he handed the ball off?

Tillman was not originally injured due to a high pass from Hooker, his leg was rolled up on while he was blocking for a running play - right at the goal line if I remember correctly. The high pass in the GA game may have re-aggravated it, but the initial injury was not due to a high pass.
He was rolled up on blocking on a running play. A few plays later is when he was hit low on the high pass. Both happened in the same game

Football is a contact sport.

Sometimes injuries happen and you can’t prevent it.

Specifically blaming Hooker for Tillman getting hurt is incredibly dumb.

I respect his decision. He came back and played hard when he was able to be in the lineup. I hope he goes to the league and makes a boatload of money. He is just a great example of a guy working hard and getting coached up by Coach Heupel. Coach Heupel should use Tillman's name every time he sets with a receiver recruit and his family.

Good point. And his comment is about as dumb as it gets. Freak injuries happen and there is nothing one can do about them. Wonder what he blames Hooker’s knee injury on? Must have been a gremlin that tripped him. Yeah that’s it.

It's a shame that some nobody from Akron who took a cheap shot to his knee ruined what would have likely been a record year.

Two of Clemson's best defenders won't play in the Orange Bowl.

Defensive lineman Myles Murphy has opted out.

Linebacker Trenton Simpson is injured and is being held out.

Has the other defensive lineman (Bressee?) announced a decision?
