He was responding to a reporter asking about Tillman. He laughed and said “I thought you guys already put out a quote on that?” And then said “I’m just poignant, this is a big game. You guys are usually on top of these things” followed by “we’ll see where we’re at after tomorrow.” While it is promising, I still doubt he plays.

Thbe Georgia game is the more important one if we are going to go to Atlanta. I'd make sure he was ready for that one and not risk him beforehand, unless doctors clear him to play. And even then I might not.

I think there were some indications that he was close but not quite there last week. He could probably play this week but won't because it is UTM. Very likely back vs UK.

Just my opinion, but if there’s no risk for furthering the injury then I think it would be good game practice to get some reps against Martin in order to be more ready for UK

Maybe. There's that but also the idea that extra rest may let him heal completely.

He could also be nursing other aches and pains. Most players are by this point of the season.

But the risk for reinjury lessen the further out he goes away from surgery . I’m hoping for good practices and rest for Martin and show up ready for Kensucky
