Brando said on his show today, even though Jarnell is not in game shape is the Best power forward in college basketball. That's what I'm talkin' bout!

Wow that's freaking awesome I love it. The announcers during Uconn kept comparing to sullinger then said that he does some things already that not even sullinger does. I love it, get STOKED baby!

Jarnell is going to be a force but Brando might be jumping the gun just a bit. By the time the NCAA rolls around, I suspect Brando will be right, especially if UT makes it in. At the same time, it is awful hard not to like Stokes for a lot reasons and I'm damn glad we've got him on our side.

The announcers of the UConn game were practically moaning every time they said his name. It's good to get some of that positive attention for once. Maybe JS can help us land some other big time recruits, knowing Tennessee is building something.

I hope so. We really need a shooter and a true point. We get this and we have a chance for a great run next year.

Love his show... it's lively and the list of guests he has on every week is always strong.

I like the Karl Malone comparison, so he needs a good nickname like "The Mailman". Any suggestions VN?

Considering how he seems to play good in all aspects of the game ( hasn't had time to learn the defense ) how about " Magic Two ".

Not dissing the kid, Stokes is a monster and has all the upside in the world, and will definitely prove to be a top player in the conference and the nation.

That being said, he is not the best PF in the country after playing only a few games. You can argue about official "positions" depending on height, etc., but there are several standouts right now that are in that race. Mr. Robinson from Kansas being the front runner IMO.

It's great publicity for the kid though, and it sure doesn't hurt having those statements made.
