Not dissing the kid, Stokes is a monster and has all the upside in the world, and will definitely prove to be a top player in the conference and the nation.

That being said, he is not the best PF in the country after playing only a few games. You can argue about official "positions" depending on height, etc., but there are several standouts right now that are in that race. Mr. Robinson from Kansas being the front runner IMO.

It's great publicity for the kid though, and it sure doesn't hurt having those statements made.

i agree there are quite a few guys that are a better pf than he is right now, but i enjoy the publicity as most do. it is great to finally be receiving some positive attention from the media once again. but no he is not the best PF in the country right now, id definitely agree with that.

good talent. will be great with some more coaching and experience. I'm excited to see how good he gets but not dumb enough to believe that he is the best PF in the nation right now.

Any other Kentucky poster would be slammed with the "hater" chant but you speak the truth my friend. I agree 100% that he's not the best post player. It's just media hype but hopefully he lives up to that. It sure would be a lot to live up to though and he's just now offically a man. I hope all the chatter don't screw with him.
