I am glad to see the Vol fans being so classy. I hate to admit it but you do have one of the classiest fan bases in the SEC if not the country. Tebow was released today and had a CT scan and was diagnosed with a concussion.
Any futher news on him?
That was a violent hit.
He's lucky it did not break his neck.
You are right. Lucky to get up after that whiplash.
Tebow will be closely monitored and will undergo numerous tests before allowed to play again. He could miss numerous games--concussions are nothing to mess around with. I bet he misses at least 4 games.
I agree that concussions are serious and should not be fooled with, but no way does Tebow miss 4 games.
He plays against LSU two weeks from now.
:thumbsup:The Gator Nation appreciates the class and respect for our fallen warrior as shown by your posts here. I hope you find it matched by our respect and prayers for one of your great warriors, Nick Reveiz. As I noted on another thread, I hope we see him next year, stronger, faster and wiser. Not good for my team, but great for him!
First of all, cursing isn't exactly a violation of "christian" values. A good friend of mine's father is a preacher and i've heard him curse from time to time in intense/extreme circumstances.Okay, let me start off by saying that I hope Tebow is okay. I NEVER take any pleasure from seeing a player getting hurt no matter who he plays for.
That being said, I have an honest to God question. All I ever hear about is what a great and honorable kid Tebow is. What makes him such a great person? I hear about his "Christian" values and yet the announcers on the game the other day pretty much said he cursed during his big "Ride My Back" speech. I am not trying to down Tebow, I just would really like to know what I am missing. Has the state of young people become so bad that if they are not doing drugs or in jail, then they should be considered saints? Tebow is a great player and I wish him well, I'm just not ready to see churches built for him.
