I rarely start a thread but this Nico thing has me pissed. I’m ready to ride with Merk. If these rumors about Nico are true, I don’t want him back at all. I honestly hope that Nico and his family see the fan disdain for them and their actions as well.

I think I agree. If Nico were to show up at the OW game tomorrow, I can’t imagine there being a good reaction.

Why is there always drama with UT football? Always!

I don’t see UGA , Ohio St, or others going thru this storm. GA let their qb hit the portal as he wasn’t going to start this season. You wouldn’t know we were a playoff team last season as our focus is always on BS.

Fyi- Nico isn’t coming back. Matthews is a concern, too.

Not sure if reported but his teammates are livid that he missed practice. He didn’t call, text … nothing! It’s sad as most of the team was focusing on class and tomorrow. Now it’s all about Nico and they have to answer questions from their friends on campus and media.

Heupel is smart enough not to put Nico infront of that crowd if he did come back. But at this point, there is no coming back from this. You risk a divided locker room and you dont want that. Put Jake in, use Nico's money to get some solid talent out of the portal and lets ride with our soft ass schedule.
