Time for Pearl to outcoach Cal again

My feeling is UT gets a second straight beatdown.

Me too....I can't figure out the optimism from some of our fans..What have the Vols done at Rupp over the years or on the road this season to merit the upset talk ??...I'm not saying it can't be done but it is going to be a HUGE hill to climb....

I'm saying the Vols beat UK at TBA though....:good!:

This team wins when their backs are against the wall, and they are in that situation right now. I'll remain hopeful, but I just don't see it happening. Maybe if we had some more depth in the front court, I'd like our chances a lot better. I'm more afraid of what UK's front court will do to UT's than their back court.

The only chance of a Big Orange victory is for the Vols to RAIN 3's for the entire game. Need to make at least 14-16 while holding KY's 3 point shooters to a low percentage.

I agree the shot has to be on but 14-16 makes would mean we blow them out! 8-10 is realistic

We couldn't beat KY at Rupp when we were a top 10 team and they were strugglin to make the tourney. This one is going to be a laugher, I am going with KY-84 Tennessee 59. I hope I am worng, but I just don't see this one being close.

Their own jobs. You can't teach effort. You have got to be kidding with that argument.

What exactly are the players in charge of? As a player you shouldn't someone to pump you up about vandy or uk or purdue etc. They were on the right track vs memphis 2 yrs ago and kansas this year.

You want to blame the coach for everything on the court? Well last time a situation like this came around vs Cal, Tenn won. I have confidence in them and Pearl because he has shown this team can beat the top. Its up to the players now.

No, but you are robbing these kids of their accomplishment in beating a number one team. Fact is he has made it to the tourney. You and many vol fans want to nitpick and blame someone for everything. Fulmer for losing, CLK for lack of respect. Wonder what Dooley will do to start a mini mutiny. Perhaps lose to oregon?

Point is you expect NC banners at a football school. Pearl has built it to what it is. The excitement and I guess mild expectation of competitivenes.
