If we were to lose, glad it wasn't in the beautiful orange that I associate with my beloved VOLS.

The grey unis are awesome. Would you never drive the same brand of car again if you ran into a brick wall like a drunken moron over and over?

The grey unis will be known for making the Vols lose close games/heartbreakers.

So let's keep them, and only wear them against the likes of Bama/LSU/Oregon. Morale boost.

Only reason I liked the grey? The players liked it. They think it looks good. I didn't, but if they could win in them, and they were something original, I can deal with it.

However, I am losing count of how many teams are wearing grey alternates. So much for original. And we aren't winning in them, so now they are just butt ugly to me now.

In the past ten years, Tennessee is 1-0 in black, and 0-2 in smokey grey. Nuff said.

I want our team to wear the colors that we wore in 1998.

I was kind of joking in my earlier post in this thread, but here's an honest comment. I still can't connect how a uniform that is so popular with the younger fans makes you play better.

I'm still a fan of the Orange & White because that is the identity of the University of Tennessee. However, I think it's fair to say that tonight we established with great certainty that it takes a lot more than a uniform to win football games.
