Nice to have another RB in this class. I hope he is a diamond in the rough.

That's great. We needed to take one more in this class. From the ones that were the left, I like this kid.

Have to trust coach G here. Every other team, including Ole Harbaugh at Michigan, were recruiting John Kelly to play DB. Look what G has done with him.

His highlight video is pretty solid, especially since he's playing against Florida competition.

We already have a elite rb in this class....I trust Coach G

We really needed another back for depth and this one had a lot of upside for that role.
You are correct that we already grabbed an elite back, and anyone trying to crack on this kid for the role he was taken for..
Well, no need to say more, the screen names are always the same.

Agreed. This kid has the abilities and vision to be elite.

Great senior film, I suggest some of you watch instead trying to be a smartazz and looking like a dumbazz.

I'm glad his film impresses you, a message board poster, and not powerhouse football programs. I feel better.

I'm not a star gazer, but it seems that, with the exception of Clemson's recent good fortune, those schools recruiting at a high level, i.e. Bammer, FSU, Ohio State, etc, are the ones who ultimately wind up playing for championships.

Even though UT is rated tenth in Scout's rankings, this year's recruiting class, at least outwardly, seems down from previous years for Butch's classes. If you look at Georgia's class for 2017 (which by the way just surpassed Bama for number one in Scout) they have about 20 four star guys which is about the same number of three stars we have. I just don't believe there are that many diamonds in the rough.

What's really a little unsettling is that this past year we had far superior talent to teams like Vandy and South Carolina, who, as you know, we lost to.

How are we going to compete with teams like Bammer and UGA when we're not recruiting anywhere near what they are currently, and we have proven that even when having close to equal, or equal talent, we can't beat? And even losing to SC, Vandy and Texas A&M.

Just some random thoughts.

He was actually recruited hard by Florida. Even the home visits if I remember correctly. They just weren't above North Carolina in his list because for whatever reason, he never seemed to have much interest in them.
Can't fault him for having common sense.

He only played in two games this year. When he did he was real good. I do trust Coach G on this one. Alabama offered a kid similar to this last year only mid major offers. He turned out to be a gem for them. (Jacobs kid) Georgia has always out recruited us for years. It is a line of scrimmage league and QB play that makes the difference in these big games. I like what we have recruited over past few years and we now have a bonafide strength coach to help move the needle more.
