Tiny to Titans in second round mock draft

The Titans devoted the last draft and off-season to shoring up the OL. They need a QB who can last longer than 5 weeks at a time, and an RB who can get through the line-of-scrimmage. What a waste of a draft choice Tiny would be.
Not true. Stewart has been playing injured all season and has missed 8 games in the past two years, plus he carries a 6mill cap hit, so many think he and CJ are gone. Roos, IMHO, is just an above average LT. If we draft one in the first, I would play them at LT and move Roos to RT.

Tiny might slide to the 2nd, but I don't see it. I suspect the Titans will try to trade someone from the roster (maybe Washington, Wimbley, even CJ...since he has 3yrs left on his contract), to compensate for losing this year's 3rd Rd pick. Morgan Moses seems like a good prospect in the 2nd.

If we can make a trade for an extra pick, I bet they try to take Big Dan...they are moving to a 3-4 and he's one of the best NT prospects in the draft, if not the best. Despite him not having big numbers this season.

He is impressing at the Senior Bowl practices, and I personally think CBJ's emphasis on conditioning, and running the uptempo offense, has helped make McCullers a very attractive pick. Coached up, Big Dan could be the centerpiece of the Titans DL.

Wizenhunt was originally an OC at Pittsburgh, and McCullers is the prototypical NT for that kind of defense.

Exactly. That's like an Oxymoron if I ever heard of one. You're "tough" when you can take a hit, get up and play the next down. Locker simply gets pushed to the ground and he sprains both a hip and a knee. He's the most fragile football player I've ever seen.

If I were him, I'd be drinking a gallon of milk a day, and lots of protein intake. And be a weight-room warrior in the offseason. If he keeps getting injured, he's going to be out of the league, just like Tebow.

Apparently you never seen vince young play....

Tiny is expecting to go around 17. I'm hearing this from somebody close to the family. There children grew up together and still are close. But Tiny comes from a single parent lower income household and he felt he couldn't afford to stick around and risk injury. His family couldn't afford a Lloyd of Londons insurance policy.

Oh shut the hell up about knowing someone.

That's ridiculous...Titans needs are defense or QB if one is left. They beefed up the oline last year.

Horton's version of the 3-4 isn't a true two gap scheme. In fact in 2012 he actually ran a 2-4-5 scheme almost 46% of the time vs a 3-4 look which he ran about 51% of the time. His system isn't dependent on a monster nose like say LeBeau's system. When he was with Arizona they played Dan Williams 31% of defensive snaps, and only used a NT between 38%-40% of the time. Instead they favored dropping a linemen in favor of another defensive back.

We do need to replace Big Country though either in free agency or the draft.

it has changed now.

Still 2nd round(11th pick). But new team

New York Giants: Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee

Will Beatty, who struggled at times in 2013, broke his leg in the season finale and may not be ready for Week 1. There was already some speculation that he could move to right tackle, with Justin Pugh shifting inside to his more natural guard position.

No thanks. Draft best possible (defense) first round, and see if a top QB falls to them in second. Or trade down in first, and pick up another second. Don't have a third round pick, but giving up a first for a third would be criminal.
If Webster does trade a player for our missing 3rd, then we could get Aaron Murray there, and he'd be pretty good insurance against Locker being injured all the time.

Boyd or Garoppolo (sp?) might be another option. Boyd doesn't blow me away, but I think he could be groomed to be a successful NFL backup.

As a titans fan I would love to get tre Mason in 2nd round. What a steal
I like Mason, but let's be honest...he was a product of a spread option system, at Auburn. I doubt he has anywhere near the numbers he had in a more traditional Pro Style offense. Teams always had to account for the QB running...that won't be the case in the NFL. Even teams that run a little Read option from time to time (ie 49'ers), don't do it much.

I personally like Jeremy Hill. North and South type runner...good size, breaks tackles, elusive and has speed to pull away from DB's. Might come down to which RB's impress at the combine.

Are you Jake Locker or a relative? That is the only way that you could say that and believe it.

Locker isn't tough, he is foolish. And he is fragile.

Bad combo.

Neither. You dont have to be a "relative or Jake Locker himself" to see what's going on. He takes on more collisions in 2-3 games than most QB's in a whole 16 game season. It's not rocket science. I do agree and ive mentioned, that he's foolish.
