I don't know who should go off this team, maybe Bironas. McCarthy has been solid this year, but nowhere near elite linebacker in the afc.

Pro bowl is crap. Here are 3 linebackers you tell me who should go simply by numbers only. Two of these are in, one is not.

126 combined tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 2int
88 combines tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1int
137 combined tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, 1int

And yes I agree that the Pro Bowl is crap. Philip Rivers?? Really?

I did not watch the Redskins this season and do not know Fletcher's numbers but I will trust you on him. On Ray Lewis, he might have been having a fine season before he got hurt but the fact is he did get hurt and should not go over a guy that has 49 more tackles than him.

Titans will get one on. As all Pro Bowls go, there will be "injuries" that prevent players from going so they'll need subs.

Are any titans though just on the outside of the voting? I saw a bunch of texans are, but that's the only team for which I know about it.

Pat Angerer didn't deserve to make it. He makes a lot of tackles because the rest of the defense is worthless, but there's no way he's one of the best in the AFC.

That being said, there weren't any Titans who deserved it either.

How many return guys get voted in? There are definitely some ahead of him, but he's been an important part of our special teams. I think he might have run just one TD back this year earlier, maybe none, but his returns are always solid. Frequently out the to 40+

You could vote McCarthy in just on potential :)

He'll get there in another season or two.

No Titans were selected as alternates, either, according to one of the beat writers (can't remember which).
