this guy has done wonders with a guy like vince young at qb..always had a strong defense

Anyone listening to 104.5? Saying Jim Wyatt talked to Bud Adams and Bud was acting like he didn't know anything about it and had to let Jim go so he could find out what was going on. Seriously?

As much as some people want the Titans to reach out to Gruden, Cowher, or Dungy, there is no way the Titans will get either. I want the Titans to succeed ,but as long as Bud Adams is alive, that franchise isn't going anywhere.

Even with a better owner, I'm not sure we'd get them anyways.

Bud Adams dumped on the Titans organization when he forced the team to draft Vince Young in the 2006 NFL Draft. Bud Adams had hoped that by drafting Houstonian and former Taxes Longhorn hero, VY, that he would get the last laugh on Houston and Texans. In the end he is still the laughing stock of Houston, as VY proved to be a bust and failure. Adams continued coddle the team cancer over the years and Fisher covered Bud's butt. Young quit on his team mates at least three times during his short career in Nashville.

Fisher is getting the last laughs on Bud Adams. Fisher will go to the TV booth for a year and then take either the Dallas Cowboys or Houston Texans job in 2012.

Let's be honest - it's a good move for both parties if true - Fisher was not and never will win a Super Bowl for the Titans. He just wasn't. He's an average coach and he had a good run and it's time to move on. Fisher will rebound - Titans have more problems that go deeper.. but guess we'll see who they hire.

I'll tell you when Bud Adams pissed me the eff off. The way Steve McNair was treated right before he got canned. McNair was my favorite QB. That hurt my heart.

Maybe we can somehow lure Cowher out of retirement to fix this awful mess? Another coach I like is Cincy DC Mike Zimmer.

I wasn't a Houston fan growing up but the past two seasons have shown me why Houston hates Bud so much, I feel your pain.

Adams is among the worst owners in the NFL, but let's be real. Fisher wasn't going to take this team anywhere.

How I feel about this firing will depend on the hire.

Sad to see Fish go, though. Probably more because he was a good guy and a player's than anything else.
