Titans or Colts (Split)

Honestly, I'd say you're clueless. Why would anyone here be inclined to be a Colts fan other than UT fans that didnt have a favorite pro team? In this state, most people are UT and Titans fans, and that is the truth.

I'm not so sure....I think that outside Nashville, the "diehard" Titans fans drop off pretty fast. Don't get me wrong..they'll pull for them...but they pull for the colts/Peyton too. I know that most of my college buddies and most of my family fit that bill. If it came down to a playoff game between indy/titans...I'm not sure who I would root for

I'd say about 99% of Memphis, the most populated city in Tennessee, despises the Titans. Back in East Tennessee, there are definitely some Titans fans, but I don't see many license plates, flags, etc. Most people in East TN are diehard UT, but I'm not sure there is any unifying NFL team to pull for. I'd say it's a 50/50 split between the Titans and the Colts.

I agree, most folks in west Tennesse still root for other teams. Granted, there are a few where I live that were happy the Titans came, but it is mostly as a way to stop off for another game on Sunday after seeing the Vols on Saturday. I really see nothing here but Vol orange. Most are happy when the Titans do well, but still support their pre-Titans team. Which mostly consists of the Boys and Rams fans in this area. All were happy for Peyton, but aren't true Colts fans. Hey, I'll take any yeller I can get, lol.:clapping:

Fans like Volholic are the reason I wish the Oilers would pack up and move back to Houston. I have tried rooting for the Titans, but they are a Nashville team. And now we have to watch their horrible brand of boring football every Sunday.

NFL rivalries, to me at least, just don't have as much hate in general as they do in college.
i used to think the same way, and in general i still feel that way, but i have a new found respect for some of the NFL rivalries out there.....there are some great ones and some good ones in the making now...

Pit/Cle is deep rooted hate.
Was/Dal...pretty self explanitory
Phil/Dal...hate each other, maybe more so philly than dal...but still a big game
kc/oak...long time rivals
den/oak...these two teams have big time history and truly don't like each other
gb/chi....one of the oldest in the league
atl/nol.....very underrated b/c they've both been so bad for so long, but they truly don't like each other.

some new ones that are forming that are getting good:
Indy/Jax....these two teams have put on some good games lately and indy provides the perfect "chase" for Jax to follow
Pit/Balt...the old browns still hated in pit
NE/NYJ...as long as bellicheck and mangetti are there, this could develop in to a feud every year
Car/ATL....i don't know that ATL thinks this is a big rivalry, but trust me, panther fans HATE the falcons
TB/Car...really started to get good when Sapp was still there, kind of cooled off now, but as you saw from chucky after this year........"i hate that guy, i really hate john kasay"...

all that to say, i still think college rivalries are better, but i do have a new found respect for some of these NFL rivlaries......hopefully they'll continue, it's good for the game.

Blah, nevermind.
ah, wise man.

Maybe but I can get that the Buckeye/ Cleveland fans hate Michigan about 475,000 times more than they hate any NFL team.

I would say the majority of Browns are also Buckeyes... At least in Ohio, where most of the Browns are.
