Titans sign Young and White

Two guys who squared off against one another in January for the NC in same backfield in the fall. Funny how things work out. Think Titans are going to have an exciting year.

6 short months ago, milo was singing Vince Young's praises. Don't be surprised if he flip-flops on the issue once again if Young turns out to be a good NFL player.

Where did you pull that one from? I was saying Vince Young was a good college player. When have I ever said he'd be a good NFL talent?

You were saying he was all world, you didn't specify whether or not he would be in the NFL until recently for whatever reason.

I don't ever remember saying that... Yeah, he tore it up in college. I've probably said that at one point or another, it's true. But I've consistently said he would suck in the NFL.

No need to restate it, I know how you currently feel about Vince Young. I'm just saying I won't be surprised if you all of a sudden claim he's great, again, if or when he has a good NFL game sometime down the road.

I'm just glad they've signed and will be getting into camp.

As far as the Leinart vs. Young debate, they may be kinda hard to compare at first.

#1) Leinart hasn't even signed yet, and apparently isn't that close to signing. If he wanted money like a top 2 or 3 pick should get, he shouldn't have stayed in college that extra year to take ballroom dancing. If he would have come out a year earlier, he would've been the #1 pick.

#2) Young may be backing up Volek this year. If Leinart signs, he will probably be thrown right into the fire.

#3) If Leinart and Young both play right off, Leinart definitely has better pieces around him on the offensive side of the ball, especially after signing Edge to go with the good young receivers they already have.

Leinart won't start. Kurt Warner will.

yeah but there is always a really good chance old kurt will get injured.

That won't be til into the season though. Leinart will sign by then. Every year, people make a big deal about rookie holdouts. And every year it fizzles into nothing. It's not a topic anybody should concern themselves with.
