what makes you think he was a commander?

I believe somewhere he claimed to be a 35 year veteran and an officer. I'd assume he has some command experience, even if it was just making sure Colin Powell's corn flakes had the proper amount of milk and sugar.

doesn't strike me as an officer, but I could be dead wrong.

35 year types are seriously senior flag officers, unless field commissioned former NCOs or green to gold types.

even if he was an NCO, he still had to have some leadership training. PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, etc.

I'm willing to bet the men under your command never had a clue where they stood with you. I'm glad I never had to experience such poor leadership outside of Basic Training.

I do need to defend that and you have no knowledge of my ability. To address my abilities as a leader without knowing me is very immature and child like. I have enough sense to know when I am dealing with a boy versus a man. Again, you are babbling and have a true knack of avoiding the subject. Again, a random statement from thin air with no knowledge or sources to back up your jibberish.

And to assume that Joe and Tito are "henchmen" is equally immature. You apparently have a problem with those who make a living getting their hands dirty.

What sources are you referring to? Joe the Plumber's records have been accessed by an Obama supporter and donor who works for the state of Ohio.

The Columbus Dispatch : Government computers used to find information on Joe the Plumber

there's a source. now, why don't you back up some of your claims.

Do I really need to defend an Obama supporter actions for which I disagree with in the first place? NO. Does that make Joe less of a henchman? NO. Am I to feel sorry for Joe for the envision of his privacy? No. Was it wrong for the Ohio Govt to do what they did? Possibility but you will have to take that up with them. Are you laying this on the Obama Campaign? yes. Misdirected? Don't know could be may not be.

Joe stepped into the minefield. MC Cain may have walked him into it after the fact not before his questioning of Obama. Did Joe have an indirect tie to MCCain before this incident? Yes. Go Figure. Keating 5 Sound familiar.

Is it a major issue in this campaign or is it another desperate move? Its Desperation in its finest moment using another scare tactic to slant the board.

Again, I have said this and I will say it again. I support J McCain. His campaign sucks and he should have stayed on course instead of using a bunch of gimmicks like Palin, Joe and Tito. It is beginning to sound more like a political Wizard of Oz than a campaign.

Do me a favor stay away from the personal stuff about my service to this country. You may not like what I have to say and I respect that, but you are over the top and out of line when you question my Service Record.

Is this deflective reasoning or can you not follow your own threads. A you losing your mind or did you just start drinking early today.

I seriously think you are the one that is babbling. From Palin, Joe and Tito you have added in your babbling the following.

Conspiracy, Marxism, the Ohio Govt, Joe's Personal Records, Colin Powell, Chris Matthews, Defense of Powell

You sound like Kieth Olberman. Babbling. I know it must be hard for you to stay on the subject but where on earth did the above topics come into play. (ADD?) They didn't until you babbled them off.

Do me a favor stay away from the personal stuff about my service to this country. You may not like what I have to say and I respect that, but you are over the top and out of line when you question my Service Record.

If you can resist the petty personal attacks, I won't engage in them either. I was just trying to get some kind of answer out of you on why you think Joe and Tito are McCain "henchmen" or desperate campaign tricks. The fact that the polls have been tightening since Joe asked Obama the question about taxes should tell you that if it was all a plan, it's working brilliantly.

I take my military service seriously. In 35 years of collective service. 30 Active and 5 Reserve, I can say that there were only 7 days I did not want to put on my boots and go to work. I could be in any situation and say I cannot believe I am getting paid to do this. I loved the service and spent 17 years outside the US in several countries. Only two continents not visited.

I love soldiers although we were all blue collar workers we were professionals. Anybody that has served give them a hug because not matter what job they did, it was a 24/7 experience. Commands I have had and there is no better experience than at BN and Bde Levels Higher than that and the rubber starts to leave the road. I felt like it was my responsiblity to know each and every soldier and their families. Give them the support they needed so that they could do their best at their jobs. Discipline was the key to weeding out the bad apples. I knew my soldiers and love them and thanked them for their service. Likewise, My wife and I did as much for the soldier's families as we could to make sure that their needs were met. We filled in when their spouses were away on assignment. It is a great feeling to have served and to have been a part of the US Army.

I still stay in touch with a lot of soldiers still serving. Our forces are wearing down, I spoke the other day to an E7 who was headed back on his 5th tour to Iraq. His family is devestated. He is not the only one in this boat there are tons of stories of divorce, family dessertions and lowering morale. It is not rampant but it starting to gain momentum. This last Stop Loss was a necessary thing because recruitting in not making the necessary quota. My heart goes out to them everyday because I know the individual sacrifaces they are making on a daily basis.

I know we must maintain a presence in the area but at what costs. What happens if N. Korea raises their head or if Russia pushes the Rope. Iran should never be overlooked but I think they are trying to stay under the radar so that they can strike at the first opportunity.

Oh well my two cents again.

i got a kick out of my painter yesterday. he owns 4 or 5 houses down in florida which he rents out. he has been down there the past month working on those homes. one of the attendants at his house is an obama supporter.

let me say my painter served in the army until last year. he served in viet., iraq, and afg. he's 58 yrs old.

anyways the attendant w/ the obama sign, has 5 kids, doesn't work, and is on welfare. the painter said that nothing is wrong w/ him other than he is a drunk, and lazy. he told his attendant that when obama wins his rent will go up $100. the attendant asked why and he said well obama is all about sharing the wealth so he's going to take from me to give to you. he said i'm just going to take back what obama took from me and gave to you. the guy said well i can't pay that, and the painter said well you know what that means
