I've lived for a number of years in both states. Ohio is certainly not a "dump" of a state. Columbus, as a city, certainly is heads-above Knoxville.

Except Ohio state is there. Makes the city into an ass pimple.

Turrentine is good, and I wish the kid well, but, I really don't know if he can crack playing time there.... They are so loaded everywhere, and from what i've read are on pace to have the greatest recruiting class in history. Turrentine is one of their lowest ranked recruits at .92, I believe, by 247 comp.. Their overall is a ridiculous .954, and probably going up. If he wanted serious playing time he should have picked the vols.

Actually Turrentines 247 comp... is .943.... Not bad, but out of their 15 recruits he is 12th.

I'm not that fond of Columbus either...but, recruits go there for a chance to win a natty every year, be coached up and developed for the pros... and also, and very important is that they have an internship program set up after football with major companies which prepare them for life after football. These are top notch jobs to. Believe it is the only school in the country that has anything like that.
