I say those 3 and Konanbanny, and call it a day. I'm sure someone in that group will translate better at nickel.

I’d like to see us revert back to recruiting ATH and moving them to CB. We need guys that can flip their hips and catch.

We’re not super thin at CB, but we’re not good there either.

We’re still a bit short there at CB. We shouldn’t be moving guys from safety to CB ever again if we can help it

Jordan Matthews might not be what we needed him to be, so that gives us like 3 CBs in the past 2 classes.

Our defense has been platooning ever since Heupel became HC at Tennessee.

1) We either score too quickly
Or
2) Give the ball back too quickly (3 and outs)

Either way, our defense is on the field a ton.

Yes our 1st and 2nd string split reps pretty evenly. Our 3rd (if we have availability at the position ) plays in the 3rd and 4th quarters at a higher percentage.

If you don’t believe me, then just go back through every SEC game during Heupels 3 years…

Elsewhere at corner, Tennessee impressed in-state corner Donovan Starr during his first visit. An official visit is not yet on the books for June, but it could be soon. Starr will be at Clemson this weekend, and the Tigers are going to press, so that will be something at least worth keeping an eye on.

I just assumed it was based on the last update, seems like the priority recruits have no trouble setting up an official. We have 2-3 DBs committed and Konanbanny (sp) has an official visit set up with us on June 21st just seems like they want him more at the moment…

They were in the process of setting one up as he went into his OVs. Good player but not end of world. This is why it’s nice for Vols to finally have a board with depth now this year
