We already have the top rated in state DB committed. Many also consider Boo Carter a better prospect than Thompson. My guess is that Thompson, while rated high in state, was further down our board nationally.

I live an hour away from East Lansing. It is a dump and the team is awful. I have no idea why anyone with options would want to play there.

He would be happy if the recruiting sites dropped him to a 3*. Thompson wouldn't be so good then.

My nephew played with him Goree's freshman year at BC. The first game he played I knew he was going to be highly regarded.

Most of the really good ones stand out immediately. Even if they aren't starters early, you can just see something different about them.

There's more than 1 state. Maybe we can get one of the best corners from Louisiana or Alabama like we did this year.

Kid didn't have the work ethic to play college FB. Had all the tools but no head on his shoulders.

Saw him Friday night and didn't see the need to interview him for VolReport so that should answer your question. Pretty good player tho
