From a guy who is perceived to be close to Keshawn.
“
Just got up this morning but last I heard is he still wants to be a cane. Distance is still an issue for his parents but they cleared the issue they had with the city and loved the education aspect. Rumph made a big move with the parents in some 1 on 1 time Saturday night while he was out with some current players.
A coach he’s close to had 3 missed calls from a UT staffer last night looking for an update or trying to up their offer... who knows lol”
I am a little concerned, but it is likely just a recurrence of my BVS. In any event, I will wait until he signs. Still believe it will be with us.I think the kid, either in concert with VQ or independently is just building drama for his announcement. It was becoming a forgone conclusion that he was committing to the Vols. All the crystal balls for the big orange. Insiders both here and on VQ claiming he was a silent. I think he just wants his moment in the spotlight.
that sounds like a post i've seen here a million times when we think we might have a reason to feel good about a recruit, and are more or less trying to talk ourselves in to believeing it.“
At first I was told he was dead set on cane and didn’t want to go to UT at all. Was probably true until they hired Ansley. I get the feeling he likes Tennessee more than was originally portrayed. Torn sounds about right but he likes the idea of Miami and our tradition more than Tennessee. Parents were dead set Tennessee until Saturday night so.. we’ll see.
To see his 7v7 coaches who are die hard tennessee fans tremble at this point is pretty telling. Mad at me because I organized for the entire team to visit campus in March and it got the recruitment rolling in the right direction”
Lololol Miami tradition
I was looking at the NCAA's website for total game attendance for 2018. Miami games, both home and away, would rank #14 in the SEC. Seriously, they barely beat out Vanderbilt. With every other SEC program they are eating our dust. Their average home attendance would rank 9th in the SEC. Even in home attendance they're not a top 20 program. We're, of course, a top 10. If the SEC were to trade Vanderbilt to the ACC in exchange for Miami I'm not sure there would be all that much net value in the deal. Was reading about the HUGE, RAUCOUS crowds at Miami games on a Miami athletics site & loved this quote.
