Hilton head...beaches are nice, except the public ones get way too croweded.
The beaches are fine, but the town is way too sterilized and boring for me. To be fair, I may not have given it enough of a chance. I went once for a long weekend and decided it wasn't for me.

Nothing wrong with a secluded beach area to relax with nothing interesting happening nearby. But you won't find me at any "popular" beaches unless there's an interesting and/or historical city attached. Myrtle, Daytona, Panama City...

People crap on Jacksonville, but I actually think the city has some to offer, there are some decent beaches nearby, and St. Augustine is so close. I'm not gonna make it an annual trip, but I think it's pretty alright. Last time I was there was for the bowl game.

I've not been to Wilmington. I'll take a look at it sometime.

Dont think it's a rough take at all, people just like different things. My interests seem to directly coincide with population. The more people, the less interested I am.

I mentioned traffic. We ended up in a traffic jam roughly every 15 miles trying to leave. Was in one for 45 mins. Got to the wreck and it was on the shoulder of the opposite direction of a 6 lane highway. You could literally only see the lights and tip of a wrecker across the double stacked concrete barrier.
Even my somewhat timid wife was like "wtf" haha.
This is me. The more people the less interested. Love my plateau with trees and seasons. Glad not many like it here. Love to visit the beach and try to ignore all the people lol.

yeah, i can see that about HHI. it's touristy, but not Myrtle Beach touristy. it's definitley geared toward golf...

but there are little pockets of the town that have good restaurants etc....but yeah, if you're not in to golf, and are looking for more 'lively' scene or a more city feel to your beach trip, HHI isn't for you. the good news is Tybee island is just down the road and Savannah GA is 40 minutes away, so if you stay long enough ( a week ) you could go back and forth and give your trip some variety.

Wilmington is great. lots of great places to eat. Carolina beach has a nice boardwalk with a fair for the kids. you've got Wrightsville beaach, Carolina Beach and Kure beach all w/in minutes of each other, with varying degrees of populations and touristy "stuff" and you can drive to Southport, or take a ferry, and you get that small beach town feel.

charleston is still my favorite though. love the city. IOP and Folley beach are good, not great.....but having Charleston next door makes up for it imo.

if you're in to fishing, there's other places way up the NC coast that are probably better. and some of the smaller towns in between charleston and Wilmington....

if you're not familiar with any of the areas, i'd do a little research....but there's plenty of options for whatevery you want to get out of your beach trip along the carolina coast.

If you like beaches and history, I suggest Beaufort and Jeckyl Island.

Oh...and Boom. HTF did we go from not getting this guy to him committing?

My timeline wasn’t able to meet Keshawn’s yesterday. It ended up being a family day for the health issues I had mentioned to y’all earlier. I wasn’t able to take the call when he called yesterday but was able to get him on the phone this morning. He talks about some different stuff here. Mainly other targets he is after but wanted to share with you guys
