Why wouldn't he be?
Kiffin - just like Pruitt - is probably going to recruit a lot of the kids he trains.

USC has not been as good since they fired him. And they were penalty during that time.

Probably the best OC Bama has had....
And he took nothing bottom feeder Florida Atlantic and won 2 Conference titles in 3 seasons . The dude has always been a great recruiter...

Pruitt is as good at defense as Kiffin is on offense. Nobody is "scared of Kiffin". Just acknowledging we have some competition for our state now...

Kiffin is one of the best offensive minds in CFB right now. He has also shown an ability to recruit at a high level.

It’s possible to accept that, while also thinking he has a lot to prove as a HC. He’s no surefire success at Ole Miss.

I for one am glad he is in the West and believe we will have trouble pulling kids out of Memphis starting with the next class. One man doesn’t make the team though. Wouldn’t trade Pruitt Ansley and Chaney for any other HC/DC/OC in the country.

Being said you cant deny he is a great recruiter and is a little scary, got us great recruits that **** the bed but also were a cody blocked fg away from beating the tide. At least show him some respect but ill take our staff all day we just gotta quit this gain a 3* lose a 4* **** and i feel like a good win tomorrow wil do us alright. Couldnt say it better, someone actually knows what they are talking about haha. Chaney is a great mind and it is year 1 which people forget, there is a noticeable difference in how he attacks our wr core which is great and pruitt and ansley have the D playing great football.

I call em the Kiffin Kult...I do not get it. The guy does not have the discipline to run a modern P5 program.

He is a good OC...but HCs have to build a defense to win it all, otherwise you get teams that pull an upset or two every year, but can't win it all because when they face a balanced team they get their asses beat.


Even the AU team that won the title had a few wrecking balls like Nick Fairly that changed the course of games.

You are correct he will never be Steve Spurrier but he sells tickets and gets recruits. He is to offense what pruitt is to defensebut i think chaney is the valuable piece here and georgia didnt look too great without him this year. I believe in this staff for the sole reason where i was as a fan after BYU to what i feel like now. I think we could play with anyone.

How do you remember almost beating the Tide, but don't recall getting annihilated by Ol Piss and VTech and others? I remember.


I still have nightmares about Dexter McCluster running all over us...

He will fail...those Piss fans will tear him to shreds when he doesn't fulfill their expectations. They will get excited over a couple of high profile wins here and there, but when he ultimately implodes...they will eat him alive.

Haha i feel ya i definitely remember Va Tech thrashing us with Tyrod but not so much ole miss but def watched it, what stings is knowing florida, georgia, and alabama are 3 losses pretty much. Florida hasnt been better than us but we just **** it up. We have had it rough as a fan base since tebow came into play, ever since then its been hard times. Dooley and butch shouldve never coached and i probably lost 10 years of my life on that stress. Been to 2 games living here in lubbock...OU at tenn loss in 2OT and tenn at T A&M loss in 2OT, my luck turns around next year in norman!

Hey..I didn't know you were in Lubbock, we lived in the Amarillo-Pampa area when I was a kid. I miss the big sky country of the Llano Estacado sometimes.

#1 i don't have to back "peddle" out of anything. The kid went where he was wanted and I'm sure I'll laugh at the masses just like with Jacoby, Ugo, and so on that everyone said wasn't this or that. What you have to do as a grown man is worry about what works for you. He found what works for him and will work towards his goal of being a Pro. As far as 24 tkls go on twitter and ask his dad tough guy. That's his father and DC and he had stats in every category except kicking. So in life there's guys who focus on everything and master none of them. Once he gets to college he will be put in the best spot to get to Sunday football. Remember a few years ago Jacoby is over rated he can't get on the field. Well look at him now. Everything in life is not instant but he's set to get a big check now. But deop me that twitter handle so we can get you and Coach Grimes on line 1 since you want to know some information on his son other than what I've told you. I'll close with this Grimes is going ro a playoff top 4 team so I'd say that means a lil more than playing in the SEC for anybody other than Bama because nobody else has a chane other than LSU this year to win a championship. Sometimes a business decision doesn't put you in TN or the SEC but as long as the final outcome is Sunday who cares?
