I think Saban is going to try to coach until one of three things happen:

1. His teams are no longer consistent national contenders.
2. He starts losing more to his rivals or previous assistants.
3. Health declines

Saban has shown to be able to adapt. Maybe that's his biggest strength. I'm thinking he may just come to a realization that he can't put forth the same emotion that drove his highly efficient circuit. So he could adapt into a regular retired dude that travels and gives back to the sport as a commentator/speaker

He's still healthy. Very healthy for his age, but to perform at the super high level he has, i think he's already past.

I wouldn't be surprised if this year is his last...

I think that to myself at the end of every season, but he won’t go away and just keeps coming back. If he’s gonna stick around, I hope we can beat him at least once before he hangs it up.
