I've heard Hubbs state that the staff initially viewed Anderson as more of a "tweener" without a real position after summer evaluations. After the season started, and it became apparent that we needed major help at DE, the staff tried to get back in it with Anderson, but he remained solid to USCe.
I’d be curious if we took a look. Barely saw the field at uscjr.
IIRC he told the coaches he was coming here the night before NSD but chose uscjr instead. Was sore that the staff here didn’t make him more of a priority earlier on.
Hasn’t done anything in 2 years and lied to the UT staff the night before signing day saying he was going to sign with UT all because he was pissy they wouldn’t take his commitment earlier in the year...pass.

Not sure this would factor or not but considering the staffs desire to make the 22 in state class a priority - was JA a teammate of any ‘22 kid that maybe bringing him “home” would help with?
Tennessee hasn’t been in contact at this point. Not sure the Vols will make contact, but he was a guy they liked later in the process the first time around.
