If you’re on my team, you’re either with us or against us. If you don’t have the passion and believe in what we’re doing enough to convince your own family, then I’ll find someone who is. That’s how I roll - don’t expect everyone else to see it the same way.If my kid wants to go somewhere else, I don't care if the boss likes it or not.

You just don’t get it. The head D1 coach is trying to build an elite team of men to create and sell a winning program. If these men are passionate and consumed with our mission such that the folks closest to them are enticed to be involved than it’s an indicator of someone that’s not truly bought in to the mission. Don’t think any reasonable person wouldn’t agree that these Football coaches are extremely overpaid compared to the folks at Amazon and VW. That money puts me in a position to be extremely picky. I’m cutting my ties with this one and taking my chances for someone better.
Now if son doesn’t have passion to play football or wants to be a soldier then that’s obviously a different story than son signs up to play for rival team. JMO - not black and white issue and I don’t expect everyone to agree
You thought the same about Hardy, as as we all did. How’d that turn out for ya? (Never mind, don’t say—you’ve made it clear ) Maybe not a great choice to be so confident until the ink is dry. Just sayin.I don’t even understand why this is a discussion thread. Tyler Baron is a Vol. Plain and simple.

Hardy was a Vol till his family got paid to take his man card.I honestly don’t remember ever saying for a fact that Hardy was a Vol. (I’ve made a lot of posts so I could be wrong) Anyways, Tyler Baron and Jay Hardy are not the same situation.
Jay Hardy was not actively recruiting for us. Tyler Baron is.
Tyler Baron is a Vol plain and simple and has been for quite some time.
This is why Bama fans stab each other after losses. You just don’t get it. The head D1 coach is trying to build an elite team of men to create and sell a winning program. Understand a kid wanting his “moment”, I guess. But does he want it so much that he throws a temper tantrum and decides to go somewhere else and not to the place he really wanted to go, because he might not get it? Not to mention how that would put his father in a bad light. Kid’s a drama queen.Hashed and re-hashed many times over in this thread and others. Kid wants his moment. It’s his decision and he’s earned it.
Not sure why it bothers other ppl that a 17-18 yr old kid doesn’t think the same way they do.

Maybe I’m old fashioned here, but I much prefer a kid do his homework, figure out where he wants to go, where’s the best place for him and then just go and not worry about what other people do or don’t think.
