Only reason? The longer it goes the more it looks like he might not be going to UT. The only reason he would push his commitment back is because he isn't sure where he is going yet or because he knows he inst going to UT and doesn't want to deal with people in Knoxville.
Does anyone know what the date in October was that had been alluded to that he'd commit? If it hasn't past yet, then maybe he's just drumming up some drama and will commit on that day as he originally planned.
While I don't think VQ has as much intel as in the past, I do think Austin Price is pretty plugged in at Knox Catholic and may have some insight here.
As I said he might still not know where he wants to go. Also he might not want to deal with people in the community if he doesn't pick the hometown team. I have no information it just doesn't seem like he is all in on Tennessee. If he knows he isn’t going to Tennessee why not commit to Ohio State and lock up that spot?
Literally what I said. Well there was a typo so if you missed the point that could be on me, but I agree with you. Barron will be going through the recruiting process untill he is a signee. That's why I don't really buy the "just enjoying the process line" if he pushes his announcement back even further.that’s not true at all.... you have to keep recruiting them until they sign the papers.
Tennessee feels stronger about its positioning with both Tyler Baron and Jay Hardy coming out of the weekend. The Vols have long felt good on both fronts, but performing well on defense and showing progress was important, especially for Baron. Both in-state lineman could make decisions within the next month or so. The potential speed bumps for Hardy would be both Auburn or Florida, but it's unclear where he stands on their board. Then it's Kentucky and Ohio State for Baron, but the Vols make the most sense on both prospects.
