Actually it is my Mother and my Father in law..sorry for the confusion, I wrote that out weird. I appreciate the prayers...mom is about to start Cap-Tem tomorrow to try and slow it down some, but chemo and immunotherapy did not work. We have not got the MRI reports back to know if the radiation stopped the spread in her brain. My FiL is running on 15% in his heart and kidneys..my wife is obviously freaking out.
Rybka has been pushing hard for UK. Some Tennessee kids who don't go to UT negative recruit UT in a big way. It still surprises me me how anti-UT some of them are. And UK is very, very anti-UT in recruiting.
Don’t you just appreciate Trey Smith, Jauan Jennings, etc.... even more?
I was even thinking of Derek Barnett tonight. The kid made his entry, and made his mark in Tennessee history.
Never whined and never complained. A joy to watch. Tennessee native. Tennessee pride. What has happened to the rest of our instate kids.
sure there is. AP has been on the radio this week discussing how tentative TB's recruitment has been recently. everyone still thinks Baron is still a lean to TN.....but they said the same thing Monday night about Hardy. so, to say there's some second guessing going on would be an understatement.I get that. But there is no reason to bash this kid based on the Hardy decision, which some seem to be doing.
I agree. Unless you're a kid who grew up with a lot of sentimental value towards UT, I see why in-state kids don't want to come here. It pains me to say that, but it's true. The West Tennessee kids are closer to the Mississippi schools, Arkansas, Alabama, and LSU than they are Knoxville anyway. The demography and geography of West Tennessee has more in common with those places than it does Knoxville as well.Im not surprised that TN kids are anti TN anymore. The Vols have sucked for the most part as long as they can remember. They see TN the way kids saw Vandy 20 yrs ( still do).

Even a kid like Cade Mays who was effectively baptized into UT since birth didn't want to come here. It sucks.
VFLs baby.So what are we calling the 17 kids who are committed to us right now?
