Just that right there would be enough for me to say “nope, not playin for that dude’s team”. That gif needs to be shared in every recruits thread who is considering them

Recruits aren’t reading these threads. If they were, or let’s even say a family member does bc that happens some - I’m not sure they’d be as judgmental.

We got House, and Utley. Also Dye is 6’5 270 going into his Sr year. He’ll easily be 290 as a freshman.

AP just mentioned what you said, and I guess Maddox is the target but not because we don’t already have dudes there.

If we can Maddox than that’s awesome,

Dye won’t be an interior DL, he’ll be what Tyler Baron was for us. Pretty important to add another inside guy considering we’re losing JYD, Omari, Norman-Lott and likely Eason. That’s our entire 2-deep on the inside

Who is JYD? We’re losing Thomas, Norman-Lott, and Simmons…and probably Eason. Moi is ahead of Simmons on the depth chart, so we don’t lose the entire 2-deep.

Regardless, we’re not relying on a freshman in the 2-deep at DT next year, even if we get Maddox. Hobbs/Moi are the likely starters. The next 3 are likely Robinson, Jenkins, and Wallace (who I expect to redshirt and develop this year). Guessing we get a portal guy here too. West can also slide inside some.

As for Dye, he’s already bigger as a high school junior than Baron is now. He will most certainly have a chance to play both the 3 tech and 5 tech.
