'19 TN DL Zion Logue (UGA Commit)

So has Ky adopted Carolina Blue as their official team color?

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture. Kentucky must not have a standard color for blue. 25 years ago they were wearing a dark royal blue.

Another thing I thought weird was their band used to have red and black uniforms in the early 1970’s.

We can’t say much though. Our orange is a totally different color now than what we wore under Fuller and Dickey.

Rocking the UT bands in his UK shoot. Lol.

—- -Camera guy ... can you take that orange power T band off ? it sticks out against our powder blue and white .

— - Zion .... ummmm I don’t think so , do you know what all I had to go through to get this ?

😂

as mentioned many months ago, zion logue was an intriguing in-state defensive lineman to watch as he continued to fill out his frame. Fast-forward to now and the 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman from lebanon high has routinely impressed at multiple camps this summer. Georgia, florida, ole miss and tennessee have all offered logue, who has nice bend and explosion for a true sde at just 16. Logue was a bit salty about not getting his tennessee offer sooner, but he knows he’s wanted now on rocky top. He won’t commit until sept 6, as he wants to honor his grandmother’s birthday.

So if I were to translate:

“Zion had a slow start to his recruitment but has recently blew up. He always wanted the UT offer, and was anxious when that would happen. Now that the UT offer is firmly in hand, he will finally commit to the Vols at the pre-designated time.”

Bama has now offered Zion. Let me say this, I have a sibling on the football coaching staff at Lebanon. He told me that UGA is the leader, and now with Bama offering a scholly that to expect them two to be the schools to beat.

Z is a very good kid, who is extremely smart. He has a lot of potential, but also needs someone who can fig out how to motivate him. He plays a little soft, and last year could get into the backfield easily but would run out of gas when chasing after qb's.

I think UT has some ground to make up here. From what I gather Pruitt was or is a dick to the hs coaches. Something must have happened. My sibling didn't make that trip, but is going to Miss St trip

Surprising to hear that Pruitt isn’t cordial to HS coaches given his deep background as one himself, plus his dad being one. Not totally dismissing you, but that would really surprise me, if true.

Not saying that at all. I'm saying something must have been said between one of the coaches and Pruitt. Zion is not a crybaby. I'm just relaying what has been said to me. Plus Zion did not grow up a UT fan. So it's not as important to him.

I didn't say he was. I said it sounds like some influencers around him are.

This is where I have a problem. Don't look for Justin Harrell to push for UT. He wants Zion to go where he wants to go. I do think that some of these other coaches push for diff schools. Problem seems to be these coaches are living through the player bc they cldn't cut it past hs.

Vol Justin Harrell?

It does sound like someone is holding a grudge whether its the kid or someone advising him, which is almost always the case with these in-state kids. It's crazy how anti-UT they are. And what's worse is many of them have former Vols surrounding them.

I know Zion Personally, he is doing his due dilligence. No one is pushing him to one school or another. He will make the best decision based on his recruitment. Hopefully it's UT but if not he will be still be successful. Smart Kid Great Family.

This is a load of bs. Pruitt has one of the best recruiting reputations in the biz and didn't earn that by being a d*&^ to high school coaches, even on a rare occasion.

I would have to hear something with my own ears and even then I'd think I must have misheard or something.

We are in on so many DLs and DEs right now I'm not even worried about it. The last staff would be falling over themselves to get this kid.
