'22 TN DT Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)

Do you have that sense from your interactions with recruits? That was my thought as well after their public performance since last week, but wasn’t sure that if the kids saw it that way.

Just reading what’s public. No idea how the kids see it, but they’re all on Twitter too, most likely seeing all the same stuff I am, so who knows!

Powell (Tenn.) five-star defensive tackle Walter Nolen took his first visit to Texas A&M, and after spending three days in College Station he plans to return.
The 6-foot-4, 300 pounder has schedule an official visit with the Aggies for October 9 when they host Alabama.

Nolen, the no. 5-ranked player in the country released a top five early in July and Texas A&M was not on it. Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee were the schools on that list. It is safe to say that the Aggies are trending up after this visit.

“The visit went good,” said Walter Nolen, Sr. “We loved everything. The facilities, the coaches, the campus and the players all stood out.”
What’s Next?
August is a dead month, so Nolen plans to settle into his new school and get started on his senior year. September will put Nolen back on the road. Alabama and Georgia could be set to host Nolen for games early in the season and he is expected to visit Tennessee numerous times with it now being just 20 minutes from his home.

A decision is not expected to be made until December. He has taken official visits to Florida and Michigan, and has now scheduled on with Texas A&M, so there are only two remaining.
Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee are the schools fighting for those spots right now.

Losing Garner and Cut, was the beggining of the slide. GBO!!!!
What do Garner and Cut have in common? They both came to UT to coach TE. Interesting that Garner recruited those studs while they weren’t even close to the position he was coaching.

If the SEC and ACC merge, it will be when all power 5 conferences merge to create the "new NCAA" which will be 80 teams. They'll probably re-create or re-imagine conferences at that point.

My theory (I will try to put this in sequence):
  • The Big 12 will dissolve (thus taking us from power 5 to power 4)
  • The remaining Big 12 teams will be re-distributed across the Big Ten, PAC 12, AAC & ACC
  • Baylor/TCU/Texas Tech/OSU to Pac 12 (16 total)
  • Iowa State to Big Ten (15 total)
  • WVU to ACC (15 total)
  • Notre Dame finally joins the ACC in football (16 total)
  • Kansas/K-State to AAC (13 total)
  • Boise State joins AAC (14 total)
  • Big Ten finds a 16th team
  • AAC finds a couple more Group of 5 teams to round out their conf at 16 teams (FAU? WKU? Air Force? UAB? North Texas? BYU?)
  • AAC becomes the 5th "Power 5" school
  • This persists for 5 years or so then a new org of the 80 power 5 schools is created.
I agree to a point. There won’t be 80 power 5 teams. Nor should there be. 4x16 teams would make more sense. The power 5 currently has those 64 teams and adding Cincinnati, Boise etc from smaller markets doesn’t add much to the pie. Just my opinion.

247 dropped Walter Nolen a spot. They must think we have a chance.

he's a self proclaimed extrovert.

My wife and I took some Stanford personality test once, not surprisingly she walks toward the group of people, conversely I jump over rocks, climb fences, and dodge trees to avoid them.

Extroverts are wired differently.

He's just a different dude.

Also, Rawb Lewis seems like a dude to go grab a beer with. His one liners are legendary.
I am one of those weird extroverted introverts.

I am one of those weird extroverted introverts.

Tested 29/30 introverted but most don’t believe that because I’m so outgoing at work. Part of that is 20 years in workforce forcing me to come out of my shell.

Best description i once heard on it was on a radio show I heard on educating different children: “extroverts are those whose batteries are charged being around people whereas introverts are those whose batteries are drained by them”. People wear me out lol.

Exactly right on the second part. There is a misconception that introverts aren't social. That's not what introvert means.

Finger paint is damn near Picasso like 👀

Fingerpaint has improved a good bit honestly. I hate this style of graphic design - will always look childish to me - but it's what's "in" right now and ole fingerpaint has gotten much better. Jesus there were some bad ones. Now, they are at least respectable.
