If you're going to a school because of a fan-base you're going to that school for the wrong reasons. Just as much as a fan will praise you, they'll shew you up for lack of consistancy and bad play. You go where you feel is a place whre you can contribute and feel like the coaches have your best interest at heart. That their message to you is genuine and not some coach speak to get you on campus. Because that speak will change as soon as you get on the yard.
Agreed. Was just stating how I feel.

Ill never forget where I was when I saw the replies to this dude from people who thought that this kid actually made an account to reply to a man named Orange Defense on VN. Its like my 72 year old grandmother moved from Facebook to VN. What a time to be alive.
I don't remember anyone thinking that was actually him.

Just as easy for me to say better for him to go where he's wanted by fans who feel their team needs him than to go somewhere where the fans feel like they don't. Hmmmm, I feel common ground here.
Bet he rarely sees the field at aTm. They're recruiting on a Bama level. He's recruited over before he arrives on campus. As far as the fans wanting him, they'll not know his name this time next year.

If you were gonna be excited you'd be excited either way. Choosing to run a kid down because he chose not to come, or saying he should be grateful because of his star rating is absurd. Like saying Tennessee deserves 5 star players because they've been so good over the past decade. C'mon man!
You know Darnell Wright? The one that chose to visit his home state school even though he wasn't going to attend? The one that chose to visit the home state school out if respect for his home state? The kid held TN at a higher standard than other schools. He got all butt hurt because he didn't get an offer soon enough. Some players can get away with being divas, usually they are rated higher than 900.

12th man will be like "Hey Chris, coach said for me to take your spot on kickoff?"

It's simple.

If he signs with us, he'll be the best LB we have ever signed.

If he doesnt. Then Jeremy Banks is better than him anyway.

Kind of like, when a prospect becomes better after he gains a star- from a 3 star to a 4 star.
We can't lose today...
