‘23 TN LB Arion Carter (Tennessee)

Just can’t accept a Nashville area (where I’m from) player at a position of need for our beloved Vols going down I-65 to play for the Crimson Slime. Doesn’t sit right with me.

Agree. Alabama has landed a Nashville area kid or two over the years, but for the most part, Nashville has been heavily Big Orange Country. I don’t like Bama taking kids out of Memphis either, but it’s more understandable than them taking Nashville kids.

Very Talented LB he and Smith are difference makers Athletically and Jeremiah not far off himself. If we get Carter what a LB class. Coach Banks loves to play 4 inside Backers because of the physical and Mental strain it takes to play at SEC level. Let's go Coach pull this one in. In CHRIST Alone

We also beat these guys head to head for a number of guys already
- Nico: beat everyone
- Hobbs: beat Bama and Georgia
- Gibson: beat Georgia
- Matthews: beat Texas but LSU/Alabama wanted badly
- Herring: Georgia tried hard
- Sham: beat Georgia

We basically had 0 in that group last class and 6 in this class (and Carter would make 7.. Davis 8). Next year I'd guess we have at least 12 head-to-head win types vs. Alabama/Georgia.
Great point. It bothers me when people say we need to "start" winning these battles. We have done that. And you are never going to win them all.
