Easy to find out that Patterson is 6’1 225 and Evans now plays for the Titans which is the nfl team I follow....heard recently he’s 6’2 232.

I don't think he's interested in us and I don't think he's a can't miss prospect. Personally I wouldn't drop any of our commits for him at this point. Good prospect. Would like to have him. Just disagree that he's a sort it out later guy until he shows he's recovered from the injury.

I learned today that Dabo was at Bama when Kane's dad was a freshman walkon there, that they have a good relationship and that Clemson is making a push for Kane.

well, he committed to OSU, and we moved on. i don't know they want to go rearrange the class on Patterson at this point. i don't think they're dissatisfied with who we have in the fold at this point.

If I were a betting man, I'd say we don't "move on" or stop recruiting him/them just because they have committed somewhere else. He was good enough on our board (at least VN said so) before he committed to OSU.

I'm not saying i'm right and your wrong on him, or any other recruit. I find the opinion that we should be recruiting the same players as OSU, Clemson, Bama, UGA, etc to get to that level of athlete, an accurate opinion.

I think this staff picks it's battles on who to continue to go after. There's only so many hills they'd be willing to die on....

Maybe Kane is one. I just doubt it.

My GUESS is that he is a similar in talent player to Dillion Bates.... so it is a fit the system question compounded by our current number crunch.... Did anyone see any big outreach to him by the staff since he walked away from OSU? He seems to be a quality kid and player with no desire to go to UT... it happens and I am always saddened when in state guys do not prioritize playing for UT but it happens and you just have to accept it, don't insult him and move on....
