At the rate the Knoxville metro is growing, and given how much of the talent in the region ends up at Alcoa or Maryville, those schools might start producing D-1 talent at a higher rate than in the past. Wouldn’t be a bad thing to have connections in Blount County. Imagine what Heup‘s offense could do with another Randall Cobb (not that guys like him grow on trees).For a fallback option I’d take a local kid that’s committed to another Power 5 school all day. At least you help grow the brand within the area
