The biggest challenge for the Vol. D will be having to deal with the flexibility of the OU O w/o any substitutions by OU.
OU recruits and fields players who's versatility allows them to attack from multiple formations w/o changing personnel.
Example: OU can line up in the I before running a deep play-action pass & then rush back to the LOS w/o substituting, line up in the spread pistol & run a bubble screen/inside zone combo that threatens a pass to Shephard with TE Bell blocking on the perimeter or a zone-read play with a lead blocker for Ross/Ford/Perine or Knight. Neither formation tells you if you are facing a run or pass & either formation can attack you vertically & horizontally.
Bell can play as an in-line or flexed TE & Flowers @ FB provides a pass catching blocking back that counters Shepard's receiving.
With this OU team, it's not just the hurry-up, the size, or the team speed, it's the versatility of the scheme.
