When Pruitt talks about his favorite players (Trey Smith, JJ, Butuli, etc) he constantly repeats "leader," "character," "maturity," stuff like that. Everything I've read about CM paints a different personality picture. Pruitt has probably coached enough headcases at Bama and UGA to know what he doesn't want in his locker room.

If CM called CJP today and wanted to commit, he would take him without question, but it may explain why they aren't camping out in his yard.

That comment was great. I'm glad the mods finally admitted that was a big part of the issue that the staff has with pursuing him. I always felt he would be a rather odd fit in this program just based on his interviews. Definitely a different type of personality that you wouldn't expect Pruitt to typically target. Pruitt is all business, much like the UGA / BAMA blueprints are.

I thinkmthi staff evaluate and factor personality fit very heavily in their decisions. I think they'll pass on higher rates players for others that they feel will mesh personality wise to what they are trying to build.
