Apparently this kid's parents are lifelong Michigan fans and have taken their kids to multiple UM games over the years. Can't blame him for that. It's an impressive place to go to a game and has an excellent academic reputation for a public university. But the school is huge, population wise, Harbaugh's methodology isn't working there, and you're talking some long, cold winter nights in January/ February after the football season is over.
Plus he's signing with a coach who won't be there for four years unless he pulls off a remarkable turn-around and he better get use to getting beat every year by Ohio State. Maybe he understands all of that and knows what he's getting into, but this feels like so many other southern kids who go up to Michigan only to end up in the transfer portal.
