They can’t fire him… There has been too much revenue lost due to Covid, and no programs in the country can afford to fire their coach this year.

I guess if the choices are between one bad coach out of his league at a losing program 8 hours away and another bad coach out of his league at a losing program 3 hours away, then simple logistics may come into play.

I just don't see how Tennessee has an appreciably better outlook than Michigan that would cause Junior to rethink his decision.
