6’8” 360lbs wonts to get to 350lbs 😳 Kid is a monster, liked what he said about being close so his mother can watch him.
Yep he is already my favorite for the 22' class. Really anxious to see him develop over this period. I expect him to get his strength up and overall athleticism by the time he signs here 😉.

Amazing how his recruitment went from 0 to 100 so suddenly. Clearly a smart choice to go from a '21 recruit to a '22 especially with no camps this year. Kid has a good head on his (massive) shoulders and is making good choices...now he just needs to make one more and be clad in orange 😁 He and Ty could really get the instate ball rolling for next class.

You can't teach size. This kid has lots of it. When he's a full grown man he will be terrifying. He's like McCullers but 16 years old. Yikes.

Honestly probably doesn't want to grow anymore. Center of gravity tough to match if any taller.

But he's an incoming senior in a couple weeks...should be mostly grown height wise. Hopefully...otherwise Barnes might wanna hit him up haha

True. Perhaps mature is a better word than grow. A kid that big with grown man strength...man oh man.

OL JACOB HOOD
Hood, who plays at Hillsboro High School in Nashville, Tenn., said a few of Tennessee's coaches contacted him "right after midnight" Tuesday morning. Offensive line coach Will Friend, wide receivers coach Tee Martin and Pruitt "all hit me around the same time," Hood said.

The 6-foot-8, 350-pound Hood, who recently reclassified from the 2021 class to 2022, said he also heard from Baylor, South Carolina, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech and Maryland were among the other schools that made early contact with him.

Hood has received an offer from Tennessee in June and now holds offers from at least nine schools, including Texas A&M, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Kentucky, Baylor, Georgia Tech and Arizona State.
He has yet to be rated by 247Sports and in the 247Sports Composite.

So will he be the 2nd rated player in the state behind Nolen? I know nothing about 2022 kids.

Since this is a free year Tennessee has the opportunity to create an Oline factory. Play in a few games to get an idea of what to expect and stay a freshman as well as play in 4 games next year and still redshirt... that allows for significant depth and development and keeping the Oline upperclassmen besides the 5 star phenom.
