The National College Evaluation Camp brought together some of the best prospects Georgia and other states including Tennessee has to offer from the classes of 2022, '23, '24 and beyond. Many of them stood out among a loaded camp field.
Jacob Hood, Offensive Tackle, 6-foot-8 350 pounds, Nashville, TN, Class of 2022
Hood was one of the obvious stars of the camp. Within seconds of stepping out onto the turf, eyes shifted in the direction of the massive offensive lineman from Nashville. Hood is listed at 6-foot-8 and weighs 350 pounds. He could be even bigger by the time he begins college. According to Hood his family has multiple ‘seven footers’.
Hood is considered a three-star by 247 Sports composite rankings, the 15th-best player in Tennessee by the site. He didn’t do anything to change his place among those rankings, showing that he can be a leader and has a future as a mauler. In every drill, Hood was the first one in line. His 40 time wasn’t fast, but it doesn’t need to be. He could be slotted for the guard position at the next level and depending on the system that could be his ticket to fame in the future.
