'25 TN QB George MacIntyre (Tennessee commit)

So you're acknowledging that the information is fresh (this morning), but you're concluding that AP and Matt Ray both have old/bad info?

That's a bold proclamation.
No. I don’t know the details that led to their claim this morning. They could still be working off old info or it could be new. Things can certainly change in 2 weeks and theirs could be accurate.

Why did you immediately call it "old", then?

What does “must get” even mean? What happens if we don’t get him, does the program fall apart. I think people put too must stock in comments like that. In this day and age that even means less than it use to with the portal.
Good point. This class isn't complete until 2028 with the transfer rules. I think "can't miss" is just weak hyperbole but it still gets said a lot every class.

Idk why some people prefer Knight over this kid. This kid is a much better polished passer and has a high upside. He may not be as mobile as knight, but if you think about it, Milton/Nico/Merklinger aren’t as fast and agile as Knight and Hooker

I just know I get 2 years of watching these two duel it out five miles apart from each other.
Both schools are freaking loaded with talent. Gonna be fun

You haven't seen Knight play at all his junior season. Based on his 7v7 work this summer, he has progressed a lot as a passer. And...he got bigger and stronger. The gap between them as passers might not be as great as you think. Knight will be in a completely new offense with all new teammates, so early on his athleticism is likely to be on full display until they build some chemistry this season. Most that prefer Knight is because of his ceiling in this offense and the fact that he publicly reps the Vols at every event. I haven't seen anyone disparage GMAC. One just clearly shows more love for the good guys, and the differences as prospects are negligible at the current time.

I know, but if you think about it, the qbs Heup brought in (Milton, Nico, Merklinger, Jackson) dont scream running qb. I feel like Heup incorporated a lot of the qb run stuff for Hooker to play to his abilities, I feel like he will do that for any qb that’s here

I thought it’s because he seems to really like Tennessee. IDK
