They are owning California and getting a good amount from Texas too. They cherry pick the south.Phil Knight is serious about buying a championship. Oregon being at a top level shouldn't impact us as much as some of the regional programs.
One QB plays in one of the better HS classifications in NC while the other plays in the lowest classification in TN…does it mean anything? Not from a talent perspective but the experience you gain from playing tougher competition should matter but also isn’t an indicator for success in college. They are both good the staff just liked Faizon moreI think they just wanted Brandon more and zeroed in on him.
Both fit well in Tennessee offense
A lot of high ranked players from the lower classification schools have trouble adjusting to the speed and increased physicality of the game. One QB plays in one of the better HS classifications in NC while the other plays in the lowest classification in TN…does it mean anything? Curtis going to Oregon is best case scenario for us. Out of the SEC, but also not with those turds in Ohio.
I'll never get why people say this. It's such a beta way of thinking. I'd rather all the best players come to the SEC so we can play them regularly. It's better entertainment for us fans and better competition for the players. You're telling me you didn't enjoy seeing our corners lock up Ryan Williams the other day?
No. Heupel wanted Brandon from the start. That was his guy for the cycle. We didn’t shy away from a fight when Bama wanted GMac.it may have been initial by-in too. Staff reaches out to both Brandon and Curtis, gets a better reaction from Brandon, and focus on him. Better odds/easier time recruiting frees up top level resources to go after the next guys after locking up a QB early.
