Not the Bass level dug in versions, but I’ll count myself as one that thought he’d be gone by now. Selfishly because I wanted roles for Osovet and Tino Sunseri. Half of that worked out and I’m confirmed as someone who shouldn’t be making our team’s football decisions.I wonder if those who wanted Weinke gone are beginning to change their tune?
That is about my max going into my senior season which was the best in my high schoolI. I weighed about 155. Other guys on the team were bigger with comparable strength but my technique was better on the clean. We called it power clean then.
Well it was 1979 so.... We were AA ( West Virginia had 3 Classes). We had only started doing free weights that year. Most high schools then had only the old time universal weight systems with all the bench’s and weights connected in a square if you are old enough to remember them.I called it power clean...? Also, good lord man how small was your High School if you cleaned 225 and that was the best.....?
My High School was only 1A and we had guys doing well over 225. Heck, I weighed 138 my senior year and power cleaned 250 and thought I was weak lol.
What was it like when the Indians roamed the plains anyways?Well it was 1979 so.... We were AA ( West Virginia had 3 Classes). We had only started doing free weights that year. That explains your cagey attitude and unwillingness to accept any logic anyone tries to speak to you. I lived in W Virginia for years, so I can spot it a mile awayWell it was 1979 so.... Completely agree. We have some pretty good QB prospects options we’re in on in the 2022 class so I’d be happy with whomever. Not sure I really agree because of how many excellent QBs we have with Tennessee ties for 2022. In a vacuum, maybe he's right, but I'm not even sure that Simpson is my #1 preference at QB, and frankly, if we took Horn instead, it wouldn't break my heart. But I'm not getting paid to make that decision.
The only way Horn doesn't end up here is if we turn him away. His parents are grads and season ticket holders, and Nieds is recruiting him. The question just remains if Simpson will join a two QB class. Not sure I really agree because of how many excellent QBs we have with Tennessee ties for 2022. I don’t disagree, but we’ve found ways to screw up easier recruitments in the past. If Cade Mays can end up at a UGA, then I’ll take nothing for granted. And I know there were extenuating circumstances leading to that, but this is 2020 and the year is still young. The only way Horn doesn't end up here is if we turn him away. Extenuating circumstances<totally different coaches<totally different recruiting credI don’t disagree, but we’ve found ways to screw up easier recruitments in the past.
