I'm not, either, but the evidence is within the last three pages of this thread.

1.) AP contacted @THEAXMAN via PM and asked him not to post that information on the VQ board. I'm fine with people being skeptical of that, alone, as I was, too.

2.) But then, the thread was taken down off the board by mods.

3.) Hubbs felt the need to address it, twice, with calculated statements that only addresses the idea of Ty communicating with the staff, himself. He and AP were then asked about Ty's father being in contact with the staff, and those questions have gone ignored by all VQ brass.

4.) Swanman, who by all accounts has some sort of connection(s), confirmed that there has been dialog.

Again, it may all be baloney, and it isn't a guarantee of a flip, but it is definitely smoke. Hard to deny that.

Nope, no answer for that.

Maybe the interest is very much new after seeing the success of the offense and the development of Hooker?

Maybe a visit is in the future?

Perhaps, dad, being a college HC, himself, doesn't want to burn any bridges with Saban until/unless they know, for sure, that Ty wants to change his decision and that there is also reciprocating interest from Heupel and Tennessee. Both could really come away with egg on their face if he publicly flirts with Tennessee, Saban pulls the scholarship offer, and Tennessee says "thanks, but not thanks." Ty is back to square one in his recruitment, and dad has potentially been blackballed by one of the most powerful head coaches in college football.

All thise are just theories, but reasonable justifications.

So you’re buying into there being smoke of Ty flipping without he himself talking to the coaches and thus not building a relationship. And him not attending a game. While going to every Bama game.

You better hope this is not true. Ty is a much better player. A game changer. He is competing for the Heisman and leading us to the playoff.

Heupel has to close the deal.

While I agree, I’m just adding to a mountain of evidence that says he isn’t even considering a flip.

For instance, he himself is not talking to the coaches. He is not building a relationship with said coaches unless they are speaking telepathically. While that would be cool, I highly doubt that’s the case.

Unless you tell me he and Heup are snap chatting pics back and forth and that’s how they’re gonna build a relationship quick enough for him to flip.

It's almost like you didn't even read the last sentence in my post. Consider me shocked.

1.) I never said I believed this to 100% be true.
2.) I never said, even if it was true, that I believed Ty was flipping from Bama to Tennessee. Those are your words.
3.) The only thing I have admitted to believing is that the OP isn't here blowing smoke in a trolling effort. I think there is enough evidence of that. Feel free to disagree.

Unless Simpson has come to Knoxville under dark of night, he probably hasnt spent much time with Heupel in person. I doubt there is anything serious here.
